Marigold wurde von William Morris entworfen und 1875 als Tapete registriert. Das Muster enthält größere Ringelblumenblüten zwischen weidenartigen Blättern auf einem Untermuster aus kleineren Blättern und Blüten. Das monochrome Muster wurde in einer Vielzahl von Farbvarianten hergestellt. Morris ließ das Design später im Jahr 1875 auch als bedruckte Baumwolle registrieren, eines von nur drei Designs, die Morris ausdrücklich sowohl als Textil als auch als Tapete produzieren wollte.
